Our Mission:
Moving New Mexicans to be compassionately present with their neighbors through natural death.
Why?Here at Inhora we believe the presence of a loving community restores dignity to those living their dying. Inhora surrounds those living their dying with the compassionate presence of community—both within our peaceful hospice homes and their own familiar spaces—supporting neighbors to honor every sacred person through the end.
How?We do that is by supporting people to live their once in a lifetime dying journey in a supportive community.
We prioritize presence and hospitality, offer open and compassionate communication, honor each person through natural death and do small things with great love.
What?We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart. Inhora envisions a world where every person has a loving community present at the hour of death. We believe that when neighbors show up to honor those facing their final days, fear, anxiety, and strain disappear— transforming dying into a meaningful experience of living.
Here at Inhora We Value 1. Hospitality: We are a home away from home for every Guest, loved one, and team member. Every person gives us the opportunity to encounter God. “Being” is more important than “doing.”
2. Openness: We communicate with compassionate honesty, meeting people where they are at. We approach the reality of death with wonder and curiosity while not denying the related heaviness. Every criticism, idea, and recommendation is received gratefully and considered seriously.
3. Magnanimity: We honor and advocate for the human right to a dignified, natural death and access to hospice care for every body. Inhora respects other’s beliefs while bringing diverse people of good will together in the humanitarian cause of caring for those at end-of-life.
4. Excellence: We provide the highest standard of end-of-life care and education. We work from our strengths and passions. We “do small things with great love” - Mother Teresa
